Suppliers
Student Trajectory uses a small number of outside services to run the student portal. Each one handles student information only to provide its service to us, under a written data protection agreement, and may not use it for any other purpose. None of them sells student information, uses it for advertising, or uses it to train artificial intelligence.

Fly.io
Hosts the Student Trajectory application and its database on servers in Los Angeles. Student information is stored encrypted.

Backblaze
Stores our nightly backups. Each backup is encrypted on our own servers before it is sent, so Backblaze cannot read it. We keep backups for 90 days.

Postmark
Sends the portal’s emails, such as score reports, sign-in codes and parent approval requests. It handles the names and email addresses of the people who receive them and the contents of each email.

Google Workspace
Hosts our support email, support@student-trajectory.com. It handles only what families and tutoring companies choose to send us.

jsDelivr
Delivers some of the standard code libraries the portal’s pages use. It receives each visitor’s internet address and browser type when a page loads, but no student information. We plan to serve these libraries from our own servers soon.

Changes to this list
We give at least 30 days’ notice before adding a new supplier that handles student information, by updating this page and emailing the tutoring companies that use Student Trajectory.
